Quantity Surveyor - €100m Student Accommodation

CSR is working with one of Ireland’s most respected main Building Contractors in their recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor.

Initially working on a €100m student Accommodation project in South Dublin, you will report to the Commercial Manager.

The Company

·         €100m Student accommodation – Dublin

·         €180m Mixed-use development – Dublin

·         €20m Education project – Dublin

·         €15m Hotel Extension

·         €125m Healthcare project – Dublin

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will initially work on a large scale project in south Dublin ensuring its successful delivery.

Duties:

·         Preparation of Cost Plans and Budget estimates.

·         On site monthly Drawdown valuation and presentation to Funders.

·         Measurement and valuation of Change Orders.

·         Preparation and presentation of Developers Report.

·         Management of subcontractors accounts and agreement of final account.

·         Compilation and computation of Project Final Accounts.

·         Cost Value Reconciliation exercises.

·         Attend Design Team Meetings.

·         Measurement of building quantities from Drawings and Specifications.

·         Perform risk analysis and the cost implication.

·         Raising Purchase Orders for Materials, Plants and subcontract works.

·         Life Cycle Costing Of Building Components.

The Person

·         Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying

·         5+ years' of quantity surveying experience

·         Ability to interact extremely well with many different client types
