Our Client, a medium sized main contractor, based in North West Dublin is currently recruiting for an experienced QS to join their close knit team. 

The Company

Operating for over 30 years, the company has established itself within various sectors including, housing, fit-out, medical, retail, heritage and civil engineering.  They have built strong relationships with both public bodies and private clients ensuring long-term repeat business. 

They are staff focused and have provided work from home options for a number of years so are well set-up to provide flexibility to their close knit team. 

Due to 2 recent project wins and a number of projects looking likely in early 2022, the company are actively seeking a QS to report to their Commercial Manager.

You will work closely with the existing team and will deliver projects from start to finish.  

 Duties

•  Working alongside the Commercial Manager/ Contracts Director to successfully manage and deliver various projects
•  Cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development estimates, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.
•  Actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects
•  Act as the day to day main client point of contact for projects.
•  Successful delivery of projects with minimum supervision, leading to further repeat clients and their business.
•  Manage and mentor junior staff to deliver our Cost Management service efficiently and effectively.
