Plumber - Belfast

On behalf of our client based in the Belfast Area CSR are seeking to appoint an experienced plumber / lead detection technician. 

 

Knowledge, experience and skills

  • Time served plumber with domestic experience
  • Min 5 years experience
  • Use own initiative in carrying out daily duties and responsibilities.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Good investigative skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal with customers, clients and other TEAM members.
  • Attention to detail in order to maintain high standards.
  • Fit with good health

 

 Leak detection

 

  • Investigating the source of leaks in plumbing systems
  • Thermal Imaging surveys
  • Acoustic leak detection
  • Gas tracer test detection
  • Pressurising plumbing systems
  • Draining down and re-charging systems
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Complete damp surveys affected properties and report extent of damage.

  • Plumbing repairs
  • Bathroom fit outs
  • Boiler removal
  • Work to deadlines to swiftly complete assignments and projects.
  • Liaise with policyholders and clients in a friendly and professional manner and in line with company culture and ethos.
  • Receive instructions for day’s jobs and arrange all aspects to enable completion.
  • Keep in communication with and report to managers on progress of projects.
  • Keep accurate records of all works carried out by completing all company inventories and paperwork.
  • Ensure paperwork is completed and returned daily.
  • Work additional hours as are reasonably necessary for the proper performance of your duties.
  • Be prepared to work at weekends, to be on standby and attend emergency out of hours calls when requested by the Company.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work carried out by himself or his team is of the highest quality demonstrating the company’s excellent standards.
  • To ensure all works carried out by self or team are in line with the operations manual.
  • Set a positive example to the TEAM
  • Keep van clean and tidy inside.
  • Keep van safely and properly kitted out with equipment in line with van kit list.
  • Ensure all equipment and kit is properly looked after and treated with respect.
  • Report any faulty equipment
  • Immediately report any breakages or damage to customer, policyholder or company property
  • Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and rules as detailed in Operations Manual.
