A successful NI contractor is currently expanding the commercial team and as such are currently seeking a mechanically biased Quantity Surveyor.

The role would focus on managing a mixture of England/Scotland/NI based projects. Previous mechanical QS experience is a must and must have previous experience managing multiple projects.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will provide commercial support to the project team maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. You will liaise with the client, client representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.

As an applicant ideally you will have:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject
• A strong background in mechanical services
• Strong track record on commercial build projects
• Experience of package negotiation
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Able to work accurately with figures
• Full UK driving licence
• Willing to travel
