Mechanical Estimating Manager 
Our client is a highly respected and very successful M&E contractor based in Northern Ireland.

Due to continuing levels of growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Estimating Manager to join the commercial team. 

The company provide MEP services across multiple sectors including, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Data Centres, Government Offices, Banks, Schools, Leisure, Hotels, Public Buildings, and Healthcare sectors  with contract values up to £10M.

Managing the Mechanical Estimating division, you will work closely with the Directors:

• Managing a team of mechanical estimators 
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard
• Ensure team obtains competitive and accurate quotations from Mechanical/HVAC specialists
• Liaise with other members of the estimating/pre-con team and contracts managers
• Carry out estimates using electronic packages
• Develop working relationships with design consultants, main contractors and clients to establish communication paths
• Attending site meetings Good client facing skills
• Commercially astute
• Ambitious and Driven Team Player
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT Skills - MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director
• Relevant Mechanical and/or Building Services Qualifications
• Time-served Plumbing background is essential

This role would be ideal for a Senior Estimating, ready to take the next step into Senior Management.
