Mechanical Design Engineer

Location – County Tyrone

Experience – Intermediate – Senior (Minimum 4 Years)

SUMMARY –

One of our County Tyrone  M&E contractor clients has recently discovered a requirement for their offices in the Dungannon/Coalisland. Due to a busy workload as a result of such high quality work, on their behalf we are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Building Services Experience.

If you are a Mechanical engineer looking a role, our client want you to come and join their team to aid them in the design team working on projects across all sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Hotel and leisure.

Although our client is an M&E contractor, the role will involve little to no UK travel, and occasional travel to NI sites.

DUTIES:

Ø  Perform detailed calculations establishing standards and specs

Ø  Provide expertise in Mechanical service design concepts

Ø  Assure product quality through suffice testing methods as well as testing finished products

Ø  Maintain product and company reputation

Ø  Contribute to team effort by completing related results

Ø  Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the problem arises

Ø  Keeping up to date with latest technical innovations in Mechanical engineering

Ø  Regular meetings with staff for reviewing

Ø  Adhere to health and safety regulations

Ø  Proficient in AutoCAD

Ø  Visiting sites to discover more detail about projects

Ø  Report writing and documentation

Ø  Agreeing budgets and timescales

Ø  Maintaining equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (not essential):

Ø  Experienced using Revit

Ø  Degree in relevant field – (If appropriate experience is evident, those without a degree will be considered)

SALARY:

Ø  Negotiable dependant on experience – Ranging from £30k to £45k (Considering all levels)
