Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join one of the UK’s leading providers in the areas of electrical installation, heating & plumbing, ventilation and air conditioning?

This is a company that works with the functions that give life to a property – energy, heat, water and air. As Mechanical Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:

o  Represent the company at meetings, promote the correct company image and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities in this area

o  Lead the management of design consultants to ensure information is provided to suit the procurement strategy, manage the production of working drawings by trade contractors within the given timeframes

o  Ensure that all work methods are sufficient to meet the projects needs

o  Ensure that the master programme and schedule of deliverables for the project is development, meeting the requirements of the brief and the clients' expectations.

o  Oversee all works of the trade contractors, contributing to the selection of key specialists, suppliers, productions including the production of working drawings, procurement and prefabrication and performance on site.

o  Develop clear, detailed and practical measures of performance to meet project objectives.

o  Regularly inspect works for compliance with design and report on progress, ensuring remedial action is taken within agreed timelines.

Contracts Managers with a proven track record within the Building Services Industry are encouraged to apply.

o  You will possess demonstrable experience as a Project Manager/ Contracts Manager on commercial, refurbishment or maintenance projects.

o  Educated to HNC level or equivalent is preferred

o  Likely to hold professional qualification

o  Ensures that the organisation/ department delivers high quality service

o  Understands/ manages internal client relationships/ partnerships

 This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to develop their career with an expanding contractor.

Travel to mainland UK will be required from time to time but with a maximum of one night away weekly.
