ROLE: M&E Quantity Surveyor

SALARY: Negotiable

LOCATION: County Antrim

CONTRACT: Permanent

CSR are working with a well-known multi-disciplined building services and construction company with the aim to recruit a Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor to aid them with their new and existing projects based in Co. Antrim.

You’ll be a part of a company that is involved in cutting edge healthcare, educational, leisure and commercial projects throughout UK and Ireland. You’ll be part of a team that who’s expertise spans the construction industry spectrum, from smaller renovations to multi-million pound projects.

THE ROLE:

• Preparation, submission and agreement of Interim Applications and Final Accounts.
• Submission and agreement of Variations, Day works etc. with the Main Contractor/Client.
• Sub-Contractor Interim Payments including site measure, Payment Notices, Pay Less Notices and Final Accounts.
• Liaising with Contract Managers in the procurement of Sub-Contract packages of work and preparation of Sub-Contract documents.
• Support in monitoring the progress of the Works.
• The reparation and issuing of contractual notices and/or correspondence to both Clients and Companies Suppliers and Sub-Contractors.
• Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets.
• Review of contract documents.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

• Commercial and contractual awareness.
• A good level of competency of Microsoft packages.
• Self-motivation, passion and a driven ‘can do’ attitude.
• Be able to organise yourself and others workload.
• Be proactive in your approach.
• An excellent communicator.
• A high level of diplomacy and customer focus.
• The ability to anticipate problems and ensure early intervention.
• Demonstrable experience of dealing with multiple clients, forms of contract and methods of measurement.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Quantity Surveying Department Manager.
