Junior Site Engineer - Carlow

The CSR group is looking for a Junior Engineer with approx. 1-3 years’ experience required for a tier 1 Main Contractor to work on building projects in Carlow. The ideal candidate will be engineering degree or Construction Management degree qualified and have at least 2 years’ post-grad experience. This opportunity will expose the candidate to a wide variety of building types. New Build and Conservation & Refurbishment Works reporting into a Senior Engineer with scope to cover all Site Engineering duties on the project. 

Duties:

• Setting out using total station
• Maintaining accurate record keeping
• Overseeing concrete pours including pre & post documentation
• Managing rebar deliveries and checkoffs
• Quantity take offs when required
• Surveying and Recording works to existing Protected Structures
• Maintaining Design and Information Flow with Design Team Members.
• Maintaining RFI Schedule.
• Document Control.
• Performing QA checks, BCAR Inspections and Reporting.

Requirements:

• A third level qualification in Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Site Engineer
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar) and MS Office (Project, Excel, and PowerPoint) an advantage.
