Intermediate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor

A Northern Ireland contractor involved on projects ranging from £1M - £20M has a new opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team.

Wishing to appoint a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5-6 years' experience, you will be joining an organisation with a managed growth strategy involved on projects throughout Ireland (North & South).

Experience within the Residential or Commercial sectors will be essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Production of sub-contractor tender documents, procurement and financial management of Sub-contractors from approved list
• Production of and management of scheme budgets
• Production of monthly valuations, cash flow forecasts and CVR's
• Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations
• Prepare, submit and negotiate final accounts
• Production of scheme budgets
• Value Engineering costing and submission
• Able to work well in a team based environment

SKILLS

• Degree level qualification in QS or similar, Alternatively HNC/HND with suitable industry experience
• Minimum 5-6 years Quantity Surveying experience
• IT literate with strong MS Excel, experience in operating CONQUEST desirable (training can be provided)
• Self-motivated, commercially astute and a team player
• A desire to progress within their role to enable progression within the company.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills

Travel to ROI will be required 1-2 days per week.
