Electrical Design Engineer (Building)

Ø  Experience Intermediate/Senior – 5-8 years+

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

CSR are currently working for an international engineering consultancy that requires an intermediate/senior electrical engineer to join their team to assist on various multi-million pound projects.

This leading M&E consultancy prides themselves on being great employers which was thoroughly highlighted when they became CIBSE employer of the year award in recent years.

With offices in Belfast City Centre, a fantastic opportunity has become available for employment in a company that have various current projects as well as some large upcoming contracts.
Projects in the history books of this firm include a £14 million Healthcare centre as well as a multimillion pound residential care unit, to name a few.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø  Evaluate electrical systems and products via design and applying knowledge of electricity and materials

Ø  Provide expertise in electrical design services

Ø  Duties of Senior electrical engineer

Ø  Applied knowledge in order to troubleshoot problems when they arise

Ø  Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results

Ø  Ensure product quality through testing

Ø  Prepare product reports through collecting and analysing information and different trends

Ø  Competent computer skills – AutoCAD etc

Ø  Keeping up to date on most recent electrical engineering software

Ø  Meeting with colleagues when required to consider progress and review

Ø  Adhering to health and safety regulations

SKILLS (desired)

Ø  BIM/Revit

Ø  Amtech

Ø  Dialux/Relux

Ø  AutoCAD

Ø  Chartered or else working toward charter ship
