Are you an experienced HR Officer looking for immediate work? Are you open to working on a temporary contract (with some possibility of extension) This role is with a public sector organisation, providing efficient and effective service in the delivery of HR operational services.

As a successful applicant you will have 2 year's relevant experience within the last 5 years as a practitioner in a HR operational or policy role. You will also have Professional membership of CIPD as well as a foundation degree or qualification of equivalent or higher level in Human Resource Management.

This will be a varied role with job rotation and participation in a wide range of HR activities. Reporting directly to the Senior Human Resources Officer the successful candidate will be conducting the following amongst other duties:

- participate in regular reviews of HR services processes to ensure that the Centres of Excellence are delivering effectively and efficiently, and continuously improving

- undertake miscellaneous investigations which may arise from time to time as identified by the Human Resources Manager.

- participate in the development and delivery of training courses and associated materials in relation to HR policies, practices and procedures

- assist in the identification, development and implementation of systems for the recording and reporting of people metrics

- provide HR representation on business improvement and change programmes/projects within the wider group as required

- contribute to the management of the organisation's HR and payroll processes including authorisation of appropriate payments to staff and suppliers
