CSR are recruiting a diesel mechanic for a client to be based at their headquarters in the Craigavon area. 

Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Hours: 7am – 5pm (flexibility required)

Job Duties:

·         Complete preventative maintenance and routine scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers                            recommendations
·         Attend machine breakdowns at various locations throughout Northern Ireland and carry out repairs to ensure minimum            down time
·         Fault find any defects on machines and carry out repairs as necessary
·         Fabrication work may be needed from time to time
·         Mentor the apprentices within the maintenance department
·         Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies
·         Observe and comply with all good working practices within the company Person Specification -   Heavy Plant Mechanic

Criteria:

·         Experience in heavy plant/heavy goods vehicle maintenance, minimum 3 years Knowledge of auto-electrics, engines,              transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics and basic electrical systems
·         A good understanding of I.T.
·         A flexible approach
·         Keeping Records up-to-date
·         Capability of following instructions
·         Ability to work flexibly, on own initiative and as part of a team
·         Demonstrate a good work ethic
·         Organisational and communication skills with a strong understanding of health and safety
·         Driving licence

Desirable:

·         HGV driving license
