Façade Design Engineer

• Salary: Range between £30k - £45k exp dependant
• Experience range: Anywhere from 3 years in a design role up to design manager level will be considered

CSR are working with an Architectural Glazing Company in County Antrim in their pursuit of a Design Engineer.

They are a large company with a very strong team and due to recent success they now have a vacancy on the design team.

The company has an impressive portfolio to include projects across many sectors including commercial and residential.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide projects from initial design and spec through to manufacture and installation
• Initiate system designs to meet tender and/or design intent
• Meeting deadlines
• Provide design solutions and material specifications
• Review tender documentation against project specification
• Liaise with Architect and Client
• Attend pre-contract design meetings
• Production of detailed CAD drawings for client approval

Requirements

• Proven experience in a design role within the façade/architectural glazing sector
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Knowledge of fire rated glazing products (not essential)
• Understanding of CAD-CAM and CNC
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Strong Commercial Awareness
