Design Manager (Facades)

My Client a leading Fitout Company from the Co Antrim Area are on the lookout for a Design Manager from a Façade Background.

The company with over 15 years' experience operating throughout the Uk and Europe servicing Commercial, Retail and Hospitality Clients.

They require a highly experienced Design Manager/Technical Lead.

Typical Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation against project specification
• Initiate system designs to meet tender and/or design intent
• Update design processes
• Provide design solutions and material specifications
• Identify and request at early stages of design the required information.
• Keep up-to-date with technology and façade product procurement lead times
• Liaison with clients and in-house project teams informed of changes to scope of works as when they arise
• Liaise with Architects and client
• Attend pre-contract design meetings
• Production of detailed CAD drawings for client approval

Requirements

• Proven experience in a lead design role within the Facades sector
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Commercial Awareness.
