Contracts Manager – Cork

CSR Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead a Large New development in County Cork. The building Contractor has been operating for over 90 years and has an excellent reputation within the industry. Our client has secured a strong order book for the coming 2 years and with the project starting very shortly. They require a top candidate to add to their management team. A strong proven background is required, with the ability to work in a highly demanding environment essential. This opportunity is permanent with a highly competitive salary + vehicle.

Criteria

• 10+ years post-qualification experience of General Contracting or Builder / Developer exp.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Team player and an excellent communicator

The Role

• Providing specialist technical leadership
• Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets
• Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and Project Reporting.
• monitoring sub-contractor performance and determining labour requirements.
