The CSR Group are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineering Contracts Manager to join a renowned specialist contractor. With over 15 years' experience our client has built up a substantial customer base and is well known for their high standards of work. With a lot of new interesting projects in the pipeline they have a new requirement for a Contracts Manager to manage the work load.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need good communication, organisation, leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to assess, weigh up risks and resolve problems on site and technically, in a calm, safe and effective manner, without compromising working standards.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience at contracts manager level
• Drilling experience beneficial
• Must of worked on projects from £250k - £1M
• Good technical understanding of directional drilling in order to complete tenders
• Full UK Driving Licence

About the Role

• Client liaison ensuring budget and time constraints are met
• Health and safety responsibilities for all of the work force
• Manage all aspects of a contract ensuring maximum profit is achieved
• Ensuring staff morale remains high
• Building client relationship
• Managing a team of Site Engineers / Site Agents / Site Supervisors to ensure successful delivery of Civil Engineering projects
• Attending project review and progress meetings
• Ensuring contract correspondence is up-to-date
• Participating in training provided by the company
• Reviewing staff training needs
• All other duties deemed necessary to fulfil the position
