Contracts Manager

CSR Construction has a new opportunity with one of Irelands and the UK leading Building and Civil Engineering companies. This well-established construction company works in a range of sectors that includes leisure, commercial, education, healthcare, industrials, power, transport and utilities and mixed use developments. Generally the projects range from £5M - £80M. The successful Contracts Manager will have the overall management and responsibility of a major project coming on board valued around £20M. This project is a major civils job in Scotland. There will be future career progression with for the successful Contacts Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to deliver project on time and to perfection
• Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
• To carry out the role of company representation on site and to interface between the company and client
• Manage and motivate site teams
• Ensure all processes are being adhered to on a project by project basis
• Ensuring that end product meets client's expectation in relation to build and finish
• Reporting to Construction Director
• All Health & Safety and other regulatory matters

Requirements:

• Extensive main contracting background is essential
• Water or Gas pipeline experience is an advantage
• Previous £10M+ project experience
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Self-motivated and hard worker
• Strong team building skills
• Analytical and decision making skills
• Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry important
• Advance knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint and industry specific software
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
