The CSR Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a long established construction company working on a wide range of public and commercial projects generally ranging from £5M –£25M located in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will generally be responsible for 1-2 projects at one time. Only Contracts Managers with a proven track record in a similar role will be considered for this role.

Packages around £55-70k

Responsibilities:

·         Ability to work as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to high quality

·         Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information

·         To carry out the role of company representation on site and to interface between the company, client and design teams

·         Manage and motivate site teams

·         Manage and review project programmes

·         Ensuring that end product meets customers expectation in relation to build and finish

·         Organise and coordinate supply chain

·         Produce reports on project progress

·         Working alongside our site teams and Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Managers to ensure systems compliance

Qualifications/Skills Required:

·         Extensive main contracting background is essential

·         Previous relevant project experience

·         Contractual awareness including preferably NEC, JCT and Public Works contracts.

·         Ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously

·         Ability to work on own initiative

·         Self-motivated and hard worker

·         Strong team building skills

·         Analytical and decision-making skills

·         Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry important

·         Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Project and industry specific software

·         Strong programme budgeting and financial management skills

·         Excellent written and oral presentation skills
