Civil Engineer – Cork

CSR have recently been retained by a prestigious and highly successful civil contractor in Ireland to source Civil Engineer for their Cork based Projects. Joining a competent and professional team you will be involved in all aspects of their large scale civil engineering projects.

Typical project values would be around the £5M mark

This would suit someone with a desire to progress to Site Agent / Project Manager position.

The role 

• Extensive experience of civil engineering / construction works with a Contractor
• Provide timely and accrete reports
• Able to write up inspection reports
• Civil Engineering / construction Qualification HNC or higher
• Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation
• Experience on organising men and ordering materials  
• Manage the works in line with the programme whilst monitoring progress.
• Capable of managing complex projects with min supervision
• Experience in working in a fast paced and intense environment - desirable
• Experience in managing quality systems - desirable
• Support all business objectives
• Strong work ethic
• Keep good relationships with everyone on site and also clients
• Ensure that works are accurately and clearly set out before work is programmed to commence
• Dealing with Sub-Contractors
